Good to know: Most food banks ask for a quick first-visit registration — no income test. Fridges and pantries need no ID at all. Places of worship: the 24 worship listings on this page (churches, a mosque, a gurdwara, a temple and a synagogue) were sourced from 211 Toronto and confirmed on each venue's own official site in Nov 2026. They serve the public — you don't need to be a member or share the faith. Where a venue's own page didn't state hours, the card says so and notes if the time came from 211/Healthline instead. One entry, Islington United's Mabelle program, carries a caution because its partner announced a 2024 closure while the church page still lists it — call before going. No Buddhist temple or Orthodox church inside Toronto with a public free-food program confirmed on its own site was found in this pass. For birthday freebies, sign up at least a week ahead. Hours change on holidays, so call ahead.
